Food and drink has been central to me since before I was old enough to reach the kitchen counter. When I learned the power and impact aroma has on our enjoyment of food and drink, as well as how we think, feel, and behave, it became my north star.
As Chef turned Sommelier turned Spirits expert, I kept digging deeper into the science of flavor and aroma and helped create companies (Alice & the Magician and OVR Technology) that pushed the boundaries of scent and experience.
My career trajectory was thrilling, but I was drinking heavily the entire time. It nearly killed me. I decided to leave alcohol behind, rediscover myself, and create a more meaningful life. When I found myself missing the social ritual and sensory experience of drinking, I got to scheming.
More than a soda or seltzer, I wanted something that looked and tasted sophisticated, without cosplaying booze. I wanted this drink to ease stress and add real health benefits. I definitely didn’t want it to lean on sugar. Channeling a lifetime immersed in the art and science of flavor, I created a drink that centered around my core alcohol-free values: health, fitness, creativity, and social connection.

We are obsessed with flavor. And as flavor experts, we know first hand how challenging it can be to make a sophisticated, flavorful, aromatic cocktail without alcohol. But with the superpower-like flavor of a little, green Caribbean fruit called Guinep, it's a breeze. Guinep is a small aromatic fruit that grows (mostly wild) throughout the Caribbean, with a unique taste that we can only describe as "if a lime and lychee had a baby and that baby was raised by a guava."
